Last week was pretty tough week at work, since were shorthanded everyone has to step up and help. Aside from doing my job, I'm helping out our Exchange Department where I worked for a little over a year. And I set up a teller station since were down to only 5 tellers, far from our usual 12 frontline tellers.. But of course just my luck, things are not working out for me..
- the computer on one of the teller stations won't start up AT ALL! and people were asking me to print the screen and I was like, it won't even get to the desktop page! so how in the world am I gonna print it?!? duh!
- moved to another unused station.. thank goodness I was able to log in, but when I opened the program for the teller desktop.. guess what?? NOT COMING UP! there was an error and I'm not able to log in.. ok so now on this one, I can print the screen! oh and we have this whole procedure to got through if we computers that's not working. and this does not guarantee that someone will be there immediately to fix it..
- after the third attempt at long last, I was able to set up my teller station and log-in.. just when I thought its going smooth.. The validation machine is not working!! Everything has to be done twice! what a waste!!!!
- and lastly as I was typing some GL tickets all the upper keys on the typewriter was not working!
Hay, what a day! Friday was really a bad day for me.. Thank goodness I don't have work on my second job because I was just so ready to scream my heart out!! ( i don't know is it me? or i think i'm just PMSing?? haha)
Here's to hoping that this week will be better, although I know I have to work the teller line again.. All I want are working computers.. Is it too much to ask? : )

Credit Cards and Payments
Lately, I am receiving a lot of pre - approved credit card offers, and I always turn them down since I don't think I am needing a new one for myself. I will surely be placed under a big debt if I can't control my card purchases. But my friend introduced me to authorize.net , it offers credit card processing and payment solutions. Hmm.. I wonder if i will give in, maybe if the need really arises, i know where to run to.

Male Talk
I have recently heard about Extenze from some of my male friends, and I admit that I really don't have any idea of what they are talking about. So duringmy free time last weekend , i searched thru the web and find out for myself what it was. So it is a male nehnacing product, and I have also seen a lot of reviews about it. There's also enzyte review, i think this one is really making it big in the market, and so with vigrx plus . The next time they talk about it, they will be surprised to know that I am aware of these products, LOL.

Wu Chun in Manila
Thanks to my new blog friend Liezlmarie for the comment she left.. That left me browsing through each and every Wu Chun site that I can find.. Since I posted before that my latest addiction is Wu Chun, thank goodness she told me about it..
"he's actually going here in Pinas this july.. he confirmed it in his blog just recently!" - Huwattttt?? I'll be damn crazy hearing about this... And guess what?? IT'S TRUE!!! I stumbled upon Fahrenheit's Official Site (Chun's a member of that boy band, for those that are not familiar), and on the Schedule it reads:
【Wu Chun】Philippines for『Romantic Princess』 promotion
Date: 2008.07.12 - 2008.07.14
And then I found this blog in which everything was confirmed... Call me crazy, but hey he's definitely hot!! and the good thing is he speaks ENGLISH so it won't be that hard for interviews.. And with him and Jerry Yan teaming up for a new Taiwanese drama... It's something worth the wait...
Hay, just send me back home where I can watch all these dramas and get crazy with hot Asian guys!!! hahahaha... Please.. please if anybody's planning to go and see him, please let me know!!!
** so yeah, this is ME, this is me being ridiculously insane, imagine if I'm there in Manila?? i'll be in line, bumping and pushing people just to see Chun.. (probably!)**

What I've Learned about Friendship...
1.I've learned that there are many good friends around, but true best friends are hard to come by.
2.I've learned that sometimes you love a best friend more than a boyfriend.
3.I've learned that a best friend is more important than a boyfriend.
4.I've learned that you can do something or nothing with a best friend and still have the best time.
5.I've learned that a true friendship has many memories, both good and bad, but all important.
6.I've learned that sometimes the most used part of a best friend is the shoulder you cry on, and the shoulder you are willing to lend.
7.I've learned that when a best friend is happy, you find yourself happy too, even when it has nothing to do with you.
8.I've learned that a best friend's family soon feels like your own.
9.I've learned that the only one who truly understands is a true friend.
10.I've learned that nothing ever sounds stupid, funny, or unbelievable to a best friend, and you never feel stupid saying whatever it is.
11.I've learned that sometimes it feels like a best friend is the only one who will ever care about you and think you are beautiful in your own way.
12.I've learned that you always have that something extra to give to a best friend in need, and can count on that in return.
13.I've learned that your heart is forever touched by a true friend, no matter how things end up.
14.I've learned that when your heart has been broken, a best friend is the best band-aid for it.
15.I've learned that a best friend will call you in the middle of the night to talk without thinking, and it's OK.
16.I've learned that in many cases, a hug and a kind word from a best friend is the only thing that helps get you through the day.
17.I've learned that a best friend would stick up for you no matter what the consequences are.
18.I've learned that best friends can sing at the top of their lungs and not worry about singing the wrong words or being out of tune.
19.I've learned that best friends stay up all night and on the phone for hours talking without even realizing it.
20.I've learned that a best friend can tell the difference between a silly crush, and more than that.
21.I've learned that sometimes a best friend is all you have.
22.I've learned that sometimes you wonder how she knew, but then you realize that's just how close you are.
23.I've learned that when you are true best friends, everyone else knows it.
24.I've learned that, most importantly of all, best friends will always be best friends, no matter what is happening in their lives, where they are, or what they are doing. A best friend is irreplaceable. This is the most important thing I could have ever been taught by a best friend.

And I haven't heard any complaints from him.. So, wanted to say thanks!! Especially for letting me use your credit card! : )

New Haircut
Just as I mentioned on my post yesterday, I did get a haircut!! I wanted the style of Ella from Hana Kimi show.. And guess how it turned out??! Pretty damn SHORT!!!! I like it though, but I think my bangs and the sides were shorter than I expected. When I get a haircut, you won't really see the style right away, take weeks for it to be in the "form" that I wanted.. This might take months! I'm planning to get highlights next week, to give it a little twist..
So I guess I have to wait for a couple of weeks and let it grow out...

Shopping Mode
I had work today again, my second day at the Arena actually, and im still getting the hang of it. So tomorrow, Sunday, I am scheduled to give myself a little treat, shopping of course! I am getting ready for summer , so I plan to get a few tank tops and shorts. I even saw vintage sunglasses last week at the mall, and I am so tempted to grab one then. I can't wait to hit the mall again, its just one tiring week. Enjoy your weekend, wherever you maybe :)

Tired.. Confused.. Nervous..
TIRED... i started on second job last night at the Arena and it was pretty tiring... got a chance to glance at the Gary V concert, although i didn't see him.. wow! its pretty tiring.. especially because its the first night.. got off from work at 12 AM!!!! maybe later on it won't be this tiring once i get the hang of it.. the task of counting the money is easy, but going around the arena to get thei money was a pretty long walk....
CONFUSED.... haircut day for me today!!! and still haven't decided on my style that i wanted.. i'm going towards short hair again.. like Ella Chun from Hana Kimi.. (too much asian fever huh?! : ) we'll see.. i just don't want to get to the salon totally clueless.. but since the triple digits temperature started to hit and having two jobs, i don't think i have the time to fix my hair every single morning.. so.. i don't know... will got with the cut? or chicken out at the last minute and still settle for my old hairstyle? well, here's the cut i wanted: (sort of)
Just wish me luck.. I'll probably change my choice once I get to the salon.. Hay, and I'm working again tonight!!! tough times huh?!
Happy weekend!

Move Over Jerry...
I used to have a huge crush on Jerry Yan during the Meteor Garden days, I mean come on, who didn't right?!? But when I was home in Manila last May, my niece is addicted to this new tv show: Hana Kimi.. So I asked her what the story was and I was able to watch one. good thing I saw this one funny episode where the lead casts were on the hot spring!! It was funny and I got hooked to it as well.. And to be honest, I found the guy REALLY cute!!!! So, when I got back here, I watched Hana Kimi online and really fell in love with this guy:
Yup its Wu Chun!!! And my gosh he is just one amazing person!! I was surprised on how he speaks a couple of languages especially English.. He graduated with distinction from a university in Melbourne, Australia.. He's the chairman of a hotel in Brunei and owns a fitness facility as well. He's not the ordinary celebrity I should say, which is why I'm impressed!! Oh and one more thing: He has a BLOG!!!! And I'm convinced that he really does the updates and posts since I went back to his first few posts.. The pics he has on it were personal shots and some posts mentions stuff that are personal, more about his life, his family. I don't know but I think during those times that he was just starting to gain popularity, he still had the time to blog and the cool thing is he have a Chinese and English version for his posts and will leave it with quotes at every
end..
My niece mentioned that right now they're showing his other show, Romantic Princess at ABS.. and I'm starting to watch it as well.. Gosh, I wonder what I'm gonna do if I find out that he's going to Manila?!?! hahaha...
But then while browsing online, I read that he's shooting a new series with Jerry Yan, entitled Hot Shot!! now, there's something worth waiting!!!

Second Job for me!!
When I got back from my vacation last May, I realized how broke I am... AGAIN!!! One of my friends at work is working part-time at the Stockton Arena.. When she said they might need a couple of new people, for whatever reason I wanted to try for it. So during my lunch time, I went there with two more people from the bank to fill out application. I know that its almost a guaranteed slot but of course we still have to go through drug testing and background check. Too bad the other two backed out..
So TODAY... I received a voicemail from the sports manager asking me if I wanted to work this Friday!!!! Hell yeah! I'm so excited especially because this Friday the event is Gary V's concer together with Martin Nievera and other guests!! I was able to secure tickets for my mom and dad for the concert since our bank has its own suite (or they call it a box I think?!). Really didn't have plan to watch it but I heard also that Alllan Pineda from Black Eyed Peas will be there.. So if I can start work this friday.. That means I can take a glimpse of the concert. I AM SO EXCITED!!!
I know people were asking me why I wanted to have a second job.. It might be tough since sometimes I have to work, right after my job at the bank and sometimes depending on the event, I won't be able to go home until 12 am. But hey, its something I have to try. The work itself is not hard, I'll be counting the sales from the concession stand and souvenir store.. I've been counting money since I first step foot at the back so its not really a big difference.. I just want to experience having a second job. There's really nothing to do here when I get home from work.. No new TV shows to watch as well. I'm given the opportunity so might as well grab it.. Right?!?
and besides... A girl's gotta shop.... right?!? : )

laptop talk
Im not a geek and i am not that knowledgeable with gadgets, especially with my laptop. After my vacation in Manila, and after i uploaded my pictures from the memory card, it suddenly acted a bit slow. So I had it checked and i was informed that I needed to have a memory upgrade. I though that something really bad happened. So I am off to the mall this weekend ( again) to buy memory for my laptop.

GPS system
For many times since we arrived here, we almost got lost, LOL. Especially when we went to the airport in San Francisco. But now, since we are a bit familiar with the places, getting around the area is an easy one. However, having a really good GPS can save you time and gas when you go to unfamiliar places. I have a portable one with a touchscreen and we tried it already when we went to Reno , Nevada last weekend. It was so accurate and we never had any difficulty on our route. Truly worth to invest on this one.

House makeover
To say that we are all busy in this house is an understatement. We barely touch anything in the house for decorations or even renovations. But this is so opposite with ourlife in Manila, where my mom religiously searches for best curtain fabrics and have them made by her sewer. But just last weekend, we opted to buy some really nice curtains at half the price! So my mom panicked and got a few pairs that she can ship to Manila too. LOL. Now its time for our place here to have some decors.

A motorcycle for me?
No, not really for me but for my dad. Eversince I was a kid back in Manila, daddy used to have one motorcycle from their company. Now that we are here in CA, and Dad works so near to our house, the option of getting a motorcyle is highly to be considered. The oil price increase here is so evident too. I chanced upon used Harleys over the net just last night, and these used ones are still looking great at a very good price. Now i have to ask dad if he would prefer to have one to cut down on our gas consumption.

Coolpix
Since I broke my digicam while at Punta Fuego, I decided to buy one again when I got back here. I badly needed to have one ASAP since we went to a bus trip to Reno, NV with my co-workers.. Well, actually it was my mom who wanted to have one for the trip since she really wanted to take pictures because its our first time to go there.. So last Thursday after work we decided to check out Target and see if they have something I wanted.
And so I got myself a Nikon Coolpix S210.. I was leaning towards Canon or Sony Cybershot but one point also is that Ashton Kutcher's the model for Nikon today and woohoo!! He is so hot in the ad that I saw.. hahaha!! Guess a great marketing ad does have an effect on the buyers.. Hahaha.. I just like how slim and lightweight it is..

A second job for me
Working in a bank here in California is really tiring since our branch has a lot of clients. I got transferred from a teller job to office job in my 2 years stay. I can say that I am really enjoying it, not to mention that it pays very well. However, since I have nothing to do at home after work, I am thinking of getting a second job , maybe a thrice a week schedule will do. I saw a few offerings in our area and im planning to apply over the weekend. I can also try a sales career because it has a flexible time schedule. I hope I can handle a second job as well.

Medical ID
I never thought that there is a medical id jewelry. My officemate is looking for a gift to her sister who is graduating from the medical field, and she showed to me a very beautiful Medical ID necklace with pendant which is personally engraved with her name. It really looks perfect and elegant and I find it useful for the receiver. I wonder if they offer it too for some other professions. Now I am thinking of giving one for my cousin in Manila who works as a doctor in a very prominent hospital.

Father's day Gift
My dad celebrated his birthday last May 24 and since I just got back from Manila then, I wasn't able to get him a gift. So now that Father's Day is fast approaching, I am thinking of what to give him , and I want it to be special. We went to the mall last weekend where he saw a watch, and I just told him that I will buy him one. He's never into luxury watches, but this time, I really want to give him one. I checked the price at the mall and I still find it expensive. So I checked online for some bedat brands and I'm too lucky to grab a really good price. I always take precautionary measures ever since I started with Online Shopping because some say that it's not safe. But not with vialuxe. It's one of the trusted and safest site to buy a watch. Of course, they guarantee the authenticity of the product too. I find the site easy to navigate because I was able to find the watch model I am looking for. I was even able to see other models not offered at the mall, but I'm sticking with my original choice. It's simple and can even be used for work or casual occasions. Now I am ready to place my order, and for my dad to receive it before Father's Day.
