Error

I wasn;t able to go online last week because an error keep popping at my laptop screen, ang it has something to do with a video card. So even with my busy schedule, I went to the mall , and had it replaced. Then I also bought a few installers of some programs that i want to try. I am actually thinking of getting a new laptop , then i will just give this to my nephew in Manila, who at the age of 3 is crazy playing games at my sister's laptop. Well, lets wait and see, need to check my budget first

Online education

I have posted a few months back that I would like to take a short course at some online colleges , like the Capella University. Well, I still cant try my luck now, since my schedule everyday is full. I have 2 jobs , and my schedule at my 2nd job has weekdays too, and by the time i get home, i feel so tired that i only eat then go to bed. Maybe by mid this year, i can try out the online college , so i can get another degree. As to which course, I am still undecided. I am checking the available courses offered , and so far ,i have a partial list already. I need to prepare myself physically and emotionally if i really want to succeed with online education. I cant help but feel excited thinking about it. Wish me luck! This is a new path im going to take.

Trip to Mexico

How i wish that the trip is for me. It is actually for my boss at work. She will be retiring soon , and she told us that she will spend her life now travelling with her kids. Wow! Isnt it fantastic? So her first stop would be Mexico. She said that she went there before and fell in love with the seaside suites that they got, so she would like to spend quality time with her kids there. She got the all inclusive mexico package , and it already covers their accommodation and food for the entire stay. I am asking her for an estimated budget needed, and she told me that she'll give me a copy of her budget sheet once she is done with the airfare. I plan to visit mexico too with my family, maybe by next year.

Stock Options

Working on a bank can really expose you to a lot of financial matters. Before i was at the collections department and i handled foreign exchange. Now, i am undergoing a little training about stocks. I studied more of stocks during college, but the theories are from more different than the actual one of course. I am staying with the bank department that handles our stocks, and lately I get to know more about options trading . We are using some tools for monitoring which make thing easier. Hopefully by the end of my training, il get the hang of it. Slowly I am absorbing things now. Its a lot different from foreign exchange , but i know that i really need to learn about stocks if i want to stay longer at the bank.

i crave

at this hour of the day i am craving for pretzels. i wish i can drive and go to the store right now LOL.. i've been eating it eversince i started living here and i never got tired of buying it since i love trying out the flavors. yum yum! i am comparing it with the one that we have in manila, it is somehow the same in taste but the one here comes bigger. Even the chicken at KFC and the sodas here are huge as compared to Manila's.. i wonder why.. oh the sodas are refillable too at fastfood restos.. hopefully soon in manila !

Weddings.. weddings

Two of my officemates a t the bank will get married this year and I can't help but to feel excited for them. Everyday, whenever we are not busy with work, we usually flip through the pages of different magazines for gown designs, flower arrangements, venue decor, and wedding favor ideas . We even search online and bookmark the pages that we like. I hope they can really get good suppliers at affordable cost. The wedding favors alone can be a bit expensive already since they have a hundred visitors i guess. I remember when my sister got married in 2005, we got all the favors here as it would really cost much in Manila. Anyway, before i look up for somthing else, i better look for my own clothes to wear for the 2 weedings.

job talk

I am a bit alarmed with all the news here , some companies are filing bankruptcy, and some are even shutting down their operations . With all the recession going on, I am so thankful with the jobs that I have, there's actually no need for me now to look for some jobs in banking , but i am keeping some list just in case i'll be needing it in the future. My job at the Arena too is doing great, i have a schedule even on weekdays. God knows how much i saved already. I am saving because I am going to Manila soon and I am planning to visit some nice beaches by then. Thank you coz i still have 2 jobs despite the global financial crisis. Thank God.

yey!!

My office mates told me last Thursday that I look slim now as compared to last month. Hmm would you believe that? Well i still don't have a recent picture of mine, and I haven't checked out my weight yet at the scale, but I think i really lost some weight because of the weight loss pills that I tried. If this is really working, I would definitely recommend this to a friend who wants to look slimmer in a short time. I still have to drink some more this month, and hopefully i can achieve my desired weight in no time . I need to prepare for my home coming this November.

Happy Easter everyone!

So how's life? Well, if you'll ask me , its pretty the same. Still busy but my schedule now is not as hectic as before. My second job is not too demanding anymore so I get to enjoy some weeknights now. Of course, a little shopping during the weekends would always be there. I am doing some shopping since I am going home to Manila by the end of this year. Now that is one Happy News! My niece will celebrate her 1st birthday so the whole family needs to be there. Thus i am planning my Orlando vacations a little early to make way for this.

Nothing much to blog for now..

As always , i feel tired juggling from my 2 jobs. Still, even if there is tiredness in my part, I am happy that i still have my 2 jobs especially during this time that some are losing it. During weekdays , i am also receiving work schedule at the arena, so after my day job, my dad will pick me up and off we go to the arena. By 11pm (usually) , i am off and i can finally call it a day. The next day would start at my day job again. This is my life. I am thankful for all the blessings I am receeiving from the Lord Almighty. I bring it back all to HIM.
