crazy day with the kids

This is one tiring yet fun-filled day with the kids. No, we did not went out or something. We actually stayed here at home the whole day playing and dancing. I had a great time looking at them enjoying Korean Music. But of course, small fights would still be there, I acted as a referee. They tend to be really out of control sometimes so I better prepare myself on how to prevent hair loss .
But overall , it was a great day for all of us. We had pizza for our afternoon snacks and grilled cheese for later! We all love to eat actually!

Now i am thinking on what we will do tomorrow. I am running out of activities. Maybe we should try art, what do you think?

Its daddy's birthday !

May is a very important month for our family. It is my sister's and my dad's birth month! Though I am not with my dad now , just like the previous years, I would still want to give him a little something for his day. He is such a very simple man with a little or no luxuries at all. Whenever I would ask him what he likes, he would settle for simple shirts. But my dad is such big man, so here i am looking for big and tall clothing apparel that would best suit him. It is spring time already so T shirts would be the best option. The question is where to buy?

I am thinking what colors to give him, he is usually wearing light colored ones so I better stick with it. He is very particular with the quality too, he values that with the price that comes along. Off to some t-shirt hunting!

Hello Monday!

I still feel tired days after our trip. I am slowly going back to my normal routine here around the house. Laundry needs to be get done within the afternoon. One week of load is too much for me! I have to finish un packing too, lots of shopping during our trip, now I don't know know how to pack away everything. Such a busy day! I still need to look for business card printing site so I can order it online. Husband needs a new set for his work, and I overlooked this task even before our vacation. i wonder how can I do everything today, might as well start now and go offline for a while

almost 5 months

Yes, I will soon be 5 months here in Manila, and I can say that I am enjoying every moment of my stay. Well, it's not all happy moments, but I'm glad that I am with my family. My sisters and her family are so accommodating that they make it a point that I have anything I like, especially food. I know I gained weight already because we seriously love to eat. This month, we are preparing for some feast again with our whole family and I just wish that all of my cousins can join us too. I better start taking herbal diet pills already. I will surely be gaining some more pounds this summer. Family outings are being planned and I am more than excited because this is what I really miss when I was in California.

Remembering my aunt

It's been 5 years since my Aunt passed away , and every year, we make it a point to remember her during her death anniversary. It's not as sad as before, each year, we are moving on and we accepted the fact that she is happy with our Creator. She died of colon cancer, and it was only 6 months after she was detected of the disease. Maybe if colon cleansing pills were available that time, she could have lived longer. But this is life and we have to deal with it and accept whatever it gives us. What matters is that we were able to stand and move on after the rain.

To my Aunt, we miss you and we will remember you forever.

Spike

This is Spike, the toy dog of our family that he treats as a real one. I can't help but laugh on this picture of Spike because he really looks like he will join the family with some ice cream too. My sister told me that my nephew asked for a chair so Spike can sit, nice one! I don't think he will soon be owning a real dog because of his asthma, so for the mean time, he can enjoy playing with Spike who is such a low maintenance one hahaha .

I better finish this one up because i still need to read about testosterone creams . My cousin needs it for her term paper and since it is the end of the school year, she got really busy so I am helping her out. Have a great day everyone.

BCBG

Last Summer, I went to San Francisco with my office mates for a weekend of shopping and good food. I guess this is what girls usually do if they have the money and the time, right? So the four of us rented a hotel room and went around SanFo . It was a fun weekend as we shopped to our heart's desire. But you know, we are lucky because most of the items we got are on sale. I got some casual shirts, make up and a BCBG Max Azria bag, top and sandals.You might think it would have cost me a fortune, but no! I was surprised that during checkout, they still gave me an additional 20% off apart from the discounts at the tag. Ooh I love surprises when it comes to shopping.

Now I miss my friends back in CA. I already called them last week at the bank , and I promised to get in touch with them until the time that we will see each other again.

Anniversary gift

My mom and my dad will celebrate their wedding anniversary on July, and this early, me and my sisters are thinking of what to give them. If only we have enough budget , then we would love to take them to some Bahamas vacation rentals. But for now, maybe we can settle with some first class hotels in their area. Then a dinner buffet will be great to end their night. The Bahamas vacation has been a long time dream not only for my parents but for my family as well, but I am not sure if our budget can cover all of the expenses so I am going on where our budget would lead us. Wherever it may be, i know that my parents will certainly enjoy their time together.

The samsung LCD TV

Okay, who wouldn't want to own a Samsung LCD TV? I have been eying this ever since we had one in our living room. Well, I want a small one for my room and I want it wall mounted. My sister said the price of the TV dropped down already after the Holidays so she is tempting me to get the smaller one to finally stop my craving. I went to a lot of mall already and I would always inquire for it's price. I think this will be perfect when I watch my favorite classic movies in DVD, or simply watching my favorite TV shows. Now I am torn, I am saving up my last few dollars here, I am thinking if i will buy the TV or if I will just save it for another trip that I am planning for summer. Oh well, I have two weeks to decide. Let's see.

Ever since I arrived here in Manila, I realized that I am slowly gaining weight. Well I noticed too that some of pants wont fit me perfectly now. So these are the signs. I can't blame anyone but myself because i always give in to temptation. Its so easy to have snacks delivered in our doorstep, or sometimes i will have a quick trip to the mall to get some junk food, and dinner is always a feast here. Now I think i need to lose weight already. Have you heard of the quick trim fast cleanse ? I heard it from a friend because this is her regimen now. Kung Hei fat Choi

Sorry for the late greeting. I had some series of nights suffering from headaches so I wasn't able to blog lately. Anyway, last Friday, I went to Chinatown with my friend to buy some lucky cahrms and amulets in time for the Chinese New Year. It has already been a tradition for me to welcome the year with those lucky charms as I believe that they reallyy give me good luck. I dont see any harm in trying that:) Well, after a little shopping, we had a yummy dinner in one authentic Chinese restaurant in the area. I felt so full after that we decided to have some coffee to cap the night off.

Seeing her again

I was too excited to meet up my friend today at the mall. Ever since I arrived at Manila , I only saw her once and that was before the holidays.We need a lot of catching up to do . She stopped working already because she finally got pregnant after 3 years of waiting. I told her to drink her prenatal vitamin everyday to ensure that her baby will do well. I am thinking of what to give her when we see each other, maybe I will just let her choose what she like later at the mall as long as it will fit my budget. I totally love being with my friends. I miss them so much and I want to spend more time with them now that I am here.

Hello Baby!

I feel so great that my high school friend is infanticipating. She got married two years ago, and the start of this year is really lucky for them. We had lunch the other day and that's when she told me the great news. We bought her prenatal vitamins at the drugstore then went to some window shopping. A lot of stores were on sale now, so she managed to get some loose tops in time for her baby bump. Since she is working, she needs a few more clothes and nice maternity pants too. As for me, I got only a tank top , and a nice scarf for my trip. I heard it is cold in my destination so I looked for boots too. I guess, its really not for me , so i went home without a pair of boots. But its okay, I had the best news that day and I enjoyed it with my friend too.

My new companion

This Coach Duff Bag , which is a roomy messenger bag is my companion lately. It's my sister's and since she is usuing something else for her everyday bag, I borrowed this when I was out of the house. I love that the size is perfect. it holds my wallet, coin purse, make up kit, cologne, tissue and some more little stuff , then it even holds my planner. If only this can hold my laptop so I can read about quick trim fast cleanse reviews , then this is my bag forever, hahaha! But still, this one is perfect to carry around when you carry kids, go on commute, carry a lot of shopping bags and the likes. Its the perfect messenger bag for me. I am definitely carrying this to Hongkong!

Grow some more

Thank God its Friday ! This week has been pretty good for me as I accomplished a lot of things already. I booked myself for a Hongkong flight, then I was able to finish some travel papers. I also got my old passport which i think I would still be needing for reference. Now, I am listing down the things that I am getting at HK. Fo myself, I want to get some really nice and fab clothes, then my sister wants a new bag, and mind you, she is very specific with what she likes Hahaha. On my list too is a hair loss treatment product that my cousin needs. For my nephew and nieces, anything from the Disneyland will surely delight them. I am bringing a bigger luggage so I have enough room for my shopping.

Is this eczema?

Last october, when I arrived here in Manila, i was sad to see my nephew with allergies at his face. It was really red and his eyes were swollen. Then on some parts of his body, there was extreme dryness. So my sister went to the emergency room of the hospital to have him checked. He was given a few meds to take to make the swelling subside. They were thinking at first that it might be a case of eczema . The next day, they went to see a pediatric dermatologist. He was given some more meds then later on scheduled for a skin test.

A few weeks after, his skin test results stated that he is allergic to fish of any kind. Yes, he is not eating fish for now and we are hoping that soon he will outgrow this allergy so he can eat fist again.

Relaxing week

Last weekend, i had a fun and relaxing week. I went to the mall and met some of my friends to plan our travel this month. Then i joined my sister and her family in an overnight stay at a hotel. Our room was big than the usual once so my niece and my nephew had a great time playing. I , on the other han watched my favorite tv shows then event went onlie for a few minutes because I need to follow up my friend about this cure for hemorrhoid that she was talking about. A relative of mine asked me for some recommendations , so i asked a friend witht he same hemorrhoid problem. OKay so much for that.. to end the night, I had a very relaxing massage at the hotel's spa. I wish to spend more times like this.

Coach Maggie Op Art

I was looking for the best wrinkle cream online for my mom , when suddenly I received an email from Coach. They just released a new addition in their collection, and isn't it adorable? I love black and white prints, and this one really caught my attention when i saw this at the website. But I am certainly not buying one for now because I am on a budget. Maybe i would just wait for it to go on sale, or even hit the outlet. This will remain in my wish list indefinitely.

Now, I need to focus on this wrinkle cream. Mom is asking me to order one and have it shipped to our place really soon. Any suggestions? I am looking at Clinique and Estee Lauder as I am seeing good reviews of the products.

Kid at heart

So this is me last Christmas day with my nephews and nieces . They all look adorable and I truly enjoy every moment with them. Its been years since I last saw them, some are even babies then, and look at them now, such cuties! How i wish i can take them to an outing like
go on orlando vacations with them. But if thats the case, i better save starting today so we have enough money for a grand vacation.

Speaking of travel, I might go on a quick vacation this month. I am shopping for some winter clothes because its soo cold in that place. Oh i cant wait!
