Comfort and Style

Is it really possible to combine comfort and style? For many, fashion could mean sacrificing comfort in order to look good. High-heeled shoes surely exudes a sexiness but it does come with a price: wearing the wrong pair could lead to pain and discomfort. 

The truth is you can wear a comfortable outfit in a stylish way. The basic premise is to choose clothes that represent your style. While we take inspiration for models and celebrities, keep in mind that each one has a different body figure and what might fit well others might not be a good choice for you. 

My personal philosophy when it comes to fashion is that it should be an expression of my personality. Flats and comfy sneakers are my staple when it comes to footwear. The Hello Kitty and Vans collaboration was like music to my ears. If only I have enough on my budget, I probably would have more than one pair. Vans footwear are really comfortable and unique; add to that the Hello Kitty design is just my favorite. I think Hello Kitty can just easily put a smile on someone's face. 

Although I have a few outfit ideas on my mind, my first choice is to pair my Vans with tight fit jeans and a white shirt. I think that the perfect laid back outfit that is right for the summer.  What's your comfort pair of shoes?

UGG for me!

I just love this season! I finally get to experience the cold weather again. It was so humid last month in out part and I really feel exhausted after a day's work. My mom just kept all of our simmer clothes and she washed our winter clothes already . I am actually wearing a light jacket now in my room , i grabbed it as soon as I woke up. Clothes is actually not a problem for me during winter. My concern is boots. I wanted to get an UGG boots for the longest time. Armed with an extra money from my job, I am now looking for the best design for me. The classic cardy black of the cardy collection is perfect even for my work. The color can suit any of my clothes actually. But I also saw the classic cardy oatmeal , but i think it is hard for me to maintain with that color. You see , i work at the Arena and I am usually on the go. Im fraid that it might bet dirty in a short time. My other choice is the classic cardy grey . Just like black , the color is perfect . Now I am so torn between black and gray .

There's no other brand for me , only UGG . Just in case you are wondering , it is an Australian brand of high quality boots that is perfect for winter time. You will see a lot of people wearing it because it has proven its performance over the test of time. I am so excited to get my first pair.

I would like to have this for the birthday of my niece.

It is made of cotton - lycra material which is so appropriate for Manila weather. I have to ask my sister to buy this for me online. It's from Hongkong and it would be easier to order if from Manila. I went to the mall last weekend looking for a nice dress for a party here, but i nothing suits my taste. So i just bought a few items for our princess .

My new challenge

Being a mall rat on weekdays and weekends has a lot of benefits on my part. Aside from getting good items on sale, I am aware of all the items at the mall. Ask me about baby stuff, hardware, home decors, and I can lead you to the best spot. Last week, my mom asked me to accompany her at the ladies section because She needs to grab something formal for an office dinner. This is where my patience was tested. The designs that we like are for the smaller frames, and since my mom in a plus size already, we really had a hard time looking for one. Online shopping to the rescue, I grabbed her a black dress that's flattering to her. Thanks to plus size clothing store, everything is just a click away.
