Lets go Biking this 2013

This year , I am seriously planning to have a healthier lifestyle and that would start by doing regular exercises. I admit, I am too lazy to try out even simple exercises last year and I always use my busy schedule as an excuse. But this year, I wanted to make a difference and start my journey to a healthier me. I started with a weekly run , and so far it is doing good. It will help a lot if you have an exercise buddy and my friend invited me to try out biking. I have to look for a starter's bike first and also a hitch bike rack just in case we would take it further. But for now we will start biking in our area first. Wish me luck !

Is this eczema?

Last october, when I arrived here in Manila, i was sad to see my nephew with allergies at his face. It was really red and his eyes were swollen. Then on some parts of his body, there was extreme dryness. So my sister went to the emergency room of the hospital to have him checked. He was given a few meds to take to make the swelling subside. They were thinking at first that it might be a case of eczema . The next day, they went to see a pediatric dermatologist. He was given some more meds then later on scheduled for a skin test.

A few weeks after, his skin test results stated that he is allergic to fish of any kind. Yes, he is not eating fish for now and we are hoping that soon he will outgrow this allergy so he can eat fist again.

E- cigarettes

Smoking is dangerous to ones health. We always see that being advertised at the TV and yet many continue to be addicted with smoking. The sad part is, some are still young and they are already using it. I know some friends who started at high school, and some during college. I heard that some of them already have health problems this early in life so they stopped smoking cigarettes . But some just cut low on their daily number of sticks. And i know some tried out the e cigarettes. It is the latest in technology when it comes to smoking. This is dubbed at the smokers smart choice. These E cigarettes can still give you the satisfaction of tobacco without its worse effects. It is odorless and smokeless so there is a less risk that others might inhale it too. Just in case you are wondering how it works, the unit is battery operated . So yeah, they have the e cigarette chargers too. I bet my friend who uses this has a charger even at his car . I have yet to research more about it because I only know a few. One of the best things that I like from this product is that it doesn't call for a fire . It is smokeless so there is no fear of a second hand smoke too. It is economical because there is even some e cig refills. I think this should be introduced more to the market by next year.

Energy Supplements for Dad

Last week, we were at the grocery for our scheduled trip to get our necessities. I grabbed my usual stuff and added some that I wanted to try. A lot of new stuff were there, and I can't help myslef from getting especially those chips. After that, we also went to the drugstore and got a few medicines for my mom since she's not feeling well. I love to get those over the counter meds because its my emergency relief. I was browsing through some shelves when I came across Acai Berry Energy Supplements. I have been reading about it online, and i thought of giving it to my dad for his supplement. He will try it this week when he goes to work . I hope it would give him positive results. He loves natural products so Acai Berry is suited for him. Maybe i should give it a try too when I have a schedule at the park.

Now , i am thinking of getting one for my mom and dad too. They will soon be travelling and i just wnt them to bring this instead of what they have here at home. Eyeglasses for me

I badly need one for home use. I usually go to the office wearing contact lenses, but when I'm at home, I give my eyes some rest from the contacts. Having a poor eyesight is really my problem , and I definitely got that from my mom. Im looking for affordable but with good quality eyeglasses online, as I already know my grade, so ordering online would be a breeze. It's getting cold in here, and that's one reason why I don't want to go and hit the mall to look for one.
