My New Hair

Yes!!! I had my haircut last week... Just been so lazy to post some pics... I like it a lot!! : )

here's some from our xmas party, where as how my sis calls it I "Blair it Up".. (i guess its the headband thing?!?)

So the inspiration behind the cut?? Well. I found Candy Pangilinan's multiply site and I loved her hair on some of the pictures.. And then my fangirling kicks in and I found pictures for Fahrenheit's upcoming album and I MUST say, they're new hairstyle ROCKS!! So I figured if I can pull off a cut that was sort of "boyish" but can still work for me, then its awesome... So its a mixture of Jiro / Chun / Candy... and this is the first time that I got highlights!!! love it!

Who's Birthday??

it's WU CHUN'S BIRTHDAY!!! and don't think that my craziness for Chun has gone to greater lengths.. this was set-up by my bosses at work. that's why I'm so surprised and happy at the same time.. when I got to work this morning I found the little "birthday" sign and balloons taped at my computer.. i was laughing so hard and even though i was feeling a bit sick, i still feel so "touched".. makisali daw ba naman kasi sa kabaliwan ko!!

it was my big boss, one of the bank's AVP/ Ops Officer that printed the birthday greeting, while my Ops Supervisor came in a little early to put some balloons.. here's a little chika on how they came up with it:

they know about Chun since I've been raving about him since July and then on my desk calendar I had October 10,2008 marked as CHUN DAY.. so they asked me why and I told them its Chun's birthday.. My officer said that since she's not sure how the name's spelled, she first put Happy Birthday.. Ricca's Boyfriend!!! : ) i wish!! then when she went on my desk, andsaw the calendar marked with Chun's bday.. i was telling them on how I never got a surprise birthday for myself ever and how come Chun got one! : )

i just appreciate on how much support they give me, even riding with my craziness most of the time.. i'm so happy because i know this people and i didn't expect them to do something like this since they're more of the serious type.. they seriously believe that one day i'll get to meet Chun in person.. that's super I WISH!!

My Hot Shot Photobook

I am so happy!!!!! I know 8-8-08 was a lucky day, since I received my shipment that day! Yup, this is my latest craziness.. Its a photo book of Wu Chun and Jerry Yan's newest drama series, HOT SHOT! Grabe talaga ko sa ka-praningan lately.. : ) I purchased it online at YesAsia, medyo pricey pero I think its worth it! Aba naman, seeing Jerry's super smile and Wu Chun's tattoos!! haha.. Actually that was one of the reasons why I bought it, and luckily kahit medyo malabo Chun's tats on his lower leg was a bit shown.. Woohoo!!!

Didn't even now it arrived not until I heard my mom opening a box in front of the webcam, akala nya kc e isa na nman sa mga online purchase ni ate! then when she opened it, I heard her say, Ay, hindi sayo to, kay Ricca to kc Chinese yn salita sa libro! hahahaha.. I immediately ran from my room to grab it! Hay di ko alam kung maiinis ako nun or what, I was totally grabbed the chance to "open" it! Wala tuloy yun excitement! hahaha.. And yes the captions are in Chinese, so yup, di ko sya naiintindihan pero ok lang, I just looked at the picture.. Here's some of the pics:

so, the series' really HOT in every sense of the word!! I hope that when they showed it in Manila, it will be a big hit as well... been watching it online... really fun and good, never a dull moment, dami kasing gwapo sa cast!!! hahaha.. more pics @ my multiply.. soon....

Candy and Gelli plus Wu Chun

See its just not me and a bunch of youngsters that are going crazy over Wu Chun.. As I stumbled upon Ms. Candy Pangilinan's PEP blog, I found out that she's also a fan of Wu Chun.. and Gelli De Belen too!!! Nakakatawa on how she recalls their "quest" to meet Chun and Calvin when they went to Manila. So as it turns out, they're adicted to watching Asianovelas as well and will bring they're portable dvd players to watch if they're on the road!! Hahaha.. it feels so good to realize na hindi lang pala ako ang na-aaddict sa mga ito!! And much more I've been a fan of her lalo na pagdating sa haircut and my sis, as far as I know likes Ms. Gelli. Even mga artists sa tin, they waited for them while they were having an interview. Kakatuwa nga yn mga pics ni Ms. Candy while they're at the corner waiting.. Here's some excerpts from her blog:

I am a confessed Asian drama fan. Not merely a Koreanovela addict. I also watch Taiwanese, Japanese, Hong Kong, and Thai series and movies. I also check out their other show formats. I go online through mysoju, crunchyroll, etc. I have infected Gelli de Belen with this addiction...

I never knew that being a “fan” can actually give one that roller coaster of fleeting, extreme, mixed emotions....

Message from Gelli De Belen: Candy, Wu Chun is on TV now. Entertainment Live being interviewed by Toni now. Meron sila bukas sa ASAP and The Buzz. You have to do something…go!....

7:00 p.m. Saturday: Gelli called again. “Candy, watch PDA now. Bilis, guest na naman sila. Hindi mo pa sila nakikita.”.....

Whew! I was about to start this show I was hosting, and there was no TV around. “Calm down, Candy,” I told myself. “I’m going to see them tom.” The face of Wu Chun was plastered on my mind. Gosh! I felt stupidly funny but happy at the same time. I haven’t really felt this “kilig” for the longest time. I haven’t really been a fan to anyone at this level. That moment I declared that I like guys with chinky eyes or the Chinese mestizo type.....

Looking back, I can’t help but laugh at ourselves. We were truly avid fans…to the highest level. We spent two hours and a half exchanging notes and observations about the Asian novelas, movies. and actors…Mali…Mga 45 minutes lang. Kasi the rest was spent solely on Wu Chun...

ABS-CBN Lobby main entrance: Good and reliable Kate was waiting for us. Then we saw Tita Milette Santos who also helped us. She asked us to join her and the Wu Chun and Calvin Chen team, all waiting at the Lobby. Gosh! Welcome committee kami. Todo na ito. At ang konti lang namin doon. Todo na talaga ito. Hindi na namin alam ni Gelli kung ano ang gagawin namin..

Super lapit nila sa amin but we didn’t dare talk to them. They asked for food. Sabi ko na nga ba, eh. Gelli and I were debating whether we should bring them food or not. In the end, the two were given food from the catering outside. Sayang naman....

We stayed during the whole interview, until we were given the chance to have a photo op with them. Todo! We just couldn’t get enough of them. My heart stopped for a second when I shook hands with them. Merong breath suspension na medyo nakakatawa and nakakatakot because baka magdire-diretso. Hahahaha!....

Jologs Fever

Yup that's what me and my friends Ivy call this craziness both of us have been doing lately.. She can't believe herself when she actually went to SM Bicutan to watch a mall show. But just as she was saying how she can't believe that she went ahead and did that, right now I was laughing so hard because I've been one myself.. And so yes.. we are infected of the JOLOGS FEVER!!!

Well, as you can see on my posts, I've been uber excited since Wu Chun will be in Manila. Actually HE IS ALREADY!!!! I've been following it online and has been glued to our TFC to catch every glimpse of him.. SUPER GWAPO!!! hahaha.. And so I was chatting with Ivy this morning while browsing youtube for any Wu Chun in Manila uploaded videos already.. And hey, I just cannot believe myself as well.. I was following every step of the way...

I really do admire the fans that really went in there super early in the morning to catch a glimpse of Chun and Calvin.. and all the super fanatics in general regardless of who their idol is.. To make an effort to see them.. against all odds ang drama! I don;t think I'm on the verge of doing something like that though.. Although I've been hoping to travel to Taiwan or HK or maybe in Manila, if ever Chun will have a show there.. Hahaha..

Hay, ang buhay nga nman.. Paminsan-minsan bumabalik ang kabaliwan!

Wu Chun in Manila

Thanks to my new blog friend Liezlmarie for the comment she left.. That left me browsing through each and every Wu Chun site that I can find.. Since I posted before that my latest addiction is Wu Chun, thank goodness she told me about it..

"he's actually going here in Pinas this july.. he confirmed it in his blog just recently!" - Huwattttt?? I'll be damn crazy hearing about this... And guess what?? IT'S TRUE!!! I stumbled upon Fahrenheit's Official Site (Chun's a member of that boy band, for those that are not familiar), and on the Schedule it reads:

And then I found this blog in which everything was confirmed... Call me crazy, but hey he's definitely hot!! and the good thing is he speaks ENGLISH so it won't be that hard for interviews.. And with him and Jerry Yan teaming up for a new Taiwanese drama... It's something worth the wait...

Hay, just send me back home where I can watch all these dramas and get crazy with hot Asian guys!!! hahahaha... Please.. please if anybody's planning to go and see him, please let me know!!!

** so yeah, this is ME, this is me being ridiculously insane, imagine if I'm there in Manila?? i'll be in line, bumping and pushing people just to see Chun.. (probably!)**
